Practice Test for Mover's Exam

For those students who are going to do Mover's exam (Certification of English)  here I give you a link in order to practice for your test.

Second Week Work to do at home

For this week we are going to practice the following vocabulary;
1. aching
2. breathe deeply
3. diet
4. do exercise
5. goes to the gym,
6. go jogging.
7. recover
8. reduce stress
9. stay in shape
9. take care of health

fist of all, try to find the meaning in a dictionary or in https://www.wordreference.com/ . This is a good online dictionary, you can practice the use of this, trying to find the meaning of these words, Also you can use a google translator.

Then you can practice the meaning of these words, using them in context. Answer your Studentn's book page: 86 activity 3.

And from your workbook you can answer pages 85, 86. if you have any doubt you can check again your student's book pages 85 and 86.

*On Friday i will give you the answer in order to check your progress.

Grammar topic: such a... that / so... that.

We use so and such as intensifiers to mean "very, very" * Usamos 'so' y 'such as' cuando queremos intensificar, exagerar en la descripcion de algo, diciendo es muy.... (muy alto, muy pesado, etc)

example: It was so dark that we could hardly see. *Era muy obscuro que casi no podía ver.

if you notice the example, so means very in this example.

Second Example:
She took such a great picture of my dog that I cried. *Ella tomó una foto tan genial de mi perro que lloré.

Structure:

So + adjective.
 Such a/an + adjective.

SAINT PATRICK'S DAY FEST


Festival San Patricio 31/MAR/20



Buen día distinguidos padres de familia. Reciban un cordial saludo.

Por este medio me permito comunicarles lo siguiente:

El día 31 de marzo, tendremos nuestro festival de San Patricio, donde sus hijos e hijas van a participar. Para ello, necesitaré de su apoyo con el vestuario.

Primero que nada, se recomienda no hacer algún gasto con el vestuario. Ya que lo más probable es que tengan la ropa o algunos de los materiales en casita. 


Vestuario


Niños: Playera verde, pantalón azul de mezclilla (oscuro), tenis blancos y un sombrero verde (abajo se muestran ejemplos).

Niñas: Playera verde, falda verde (alguna que tengan para no gastar o de papel crepé, mallas blancas, tenis blancos y una diadema con dos tréboles de tres hojas cada uno (abajo se muestran ejemplos).
